G'day, Jess here. Nobody enjoys fine print, so I've turned this into questions and straight answers. Have a read.
The short version, mate
- No ad cookies or trackers following you about.
- Hotmart handles the money, and your card never reaches me.
- Your details will never be sold or rented.
- Want your data seen, fixed or deleted? Email business@golfjess.com.
Who's behind this site, and how do I get hold of you?
It's Jess McKenzie Golf. The site, the books and the membership all go by that name.
Drop me a line any time at business@golfjess.com.
If I'm only browsing, are cookies watching me?
Nope. There's no account to make and no sign-up form here. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no Google or Facebook trackers, and no analytics scripts.
Cloudflare hosts the site. It processes your IP address to get the pages to you and keep them safe.
What gets noted when I use a link or QR code from a video?
The time, which video or link it came from, which page it opened and your country. Plus a scrambled code made from your IP address.
Your IP address itself is never kept, and that code can't be turned back into it. All of it tells me which videos are helping.
There's one small cookie, good for 30 days. It just remembers which version of the book page you saw, so it's the same when you're back. That's the only cookie I set. Hotmart's checkout runs its own cookies under Hotmart's policy.
When I buy a book, do you get my card details?
No way. Hotmart runs the secure checkout and collects your name, email, billing and payment details. I never lay eyes on your card number.
Hotmart tells me your email, what you bought, the price, your country and which video or link sent you. On book orders I only keep a scrambled version of your email.
I got halfway through buying and bailed. Will you chase me?
Only a little. If you don't finish, or the payment doesn't go through, Hotmart may pass me your name and email.
Then I might send two reminder emails, no more. One click stops them, and they never go out if you've already bought.
What do you know about me once I join?
Hotmart passes on your name, email, country, time zone, membership status and dates, and which video or link brought you in. I keep that to send your letters.
The letters also tell me if they landed, and which links in them you clicked.
What do you do with my emails and questions?
I keep your message and your email address so I can write back.
The full raw copy of your email is deleted after 90 days. The text of the message stays, so I can keep track of our chat.
Does AI help write your replies to me?
It can. An AI writing assistant may help me draft replies so you're not left waiting. Your message is used for that and nothing else.
Who else handles my information?
Hotmart looks after payments, book delivery and membership billing. Resend is what sends my emails out. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores my data and takes in the email you send me.
Each one has its own privacy policy.
Why do you need any of my details?
To get your books and letters to you, answer your questions and sort out refunds. To see which videos help.
And now and then, to tell you about other Jess McKenzie Golf books. There's an unsubscribe link in every one of those.
Do you ever sell or hand over my details for ads?
Never, mate. I don't sell or rent your personal information, and it's never shared for advertising.
How long do you hang on to my details?
Membership details stay while you're a member, until you ask me to delete them.
Unsubscribe, and all I keep is a scrambled “do not email” note, so you won't be emailed again. Order records stay as long as the law asks.
How do I stop the emails or get my data deleted?
Hit the one-click unsubscribe link in any email, or reply with the word “unsubscribe”.
Anywhere in the US, California included, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data. Email business@golfjess.com and you'll hear back within 30 days.
Hotmart holds on to its own purchase records, because the law requires it.
Is any of this meant for kids?
No, it's all for adults. I'd never knowingly collect data from a child under 13.
What if this policy gets changed?
You'll see it here, with a fresh “Last updated” date.

No worries. See you on the practice green. — Jess
